This instrumental piece, featuring Strat lead guitar parts, is inspired by the description of an important stage in the soul's journey, in the book by Dr. Michael Newton, 'Journey Of Souls' (Case Studies Of Life Between Lives), the inspiration for this album 'The Healing Hands Of Time' ...

This stage of the journey is where the soul enters the circular space of life selection known as the Ring Of Destiny ...

'Here the entire space is surrounded by banks of interactive screens where the soul is able to immerse in, and interact within, a chosen environment which they could experience in their next chosen life. It is possible to select major turning points in that life's pathway, involving important decisions. Though it is very difficult to believe, it is possible within this space to essentially move time forward, backward and pause it like some kind of highly sophisticated computer programme! The life viewed is still conditional while viewing in the Ring ... we are not shown all the possible endings to a scene ... parts of lives are obscured to us. The Ring sets up different life experiments to choose from ... on Earth we try to resolve them. The souls who set up the screening room in the Ring know in advance what to show us because of the thoughts in our minds as we contemplate our return to Earth in our next life. On this basis we are shown those elements which we already have considered ourselves as possible choices and therefore we are not disappointed in the choices offered.'

As I said at the beginning of this description, this instrumental piece is only inspired by this descriptive narrative in the book ... the listener does not in any way have to accept any of this philosophy described, in order to hopefully enjoy this track ... pretty fantastic, especially as this book was original published in the early '70's, long before the advent of virtual reality, widescreen HD TV screens and interactive computer programmes ... but it does make you wonder!:)))
