The cover image to this track, 'The Weight Of Time' by Julie-de-Waroquier, gave me the idea for the title for both this track and the album 'The Healing Hands Of Time'. This instrumental piece is not part of the journey of souls story on this album, but it's everything to do with those left behind here on Earth. It's about that period of time that is so very necessary for the bereaved to come to terms with their loss ... the time needed for the healing process.
This is the first track I've managed to complete entirely in Logic and was played and recorded 'on the fly' while I was waiting for the huge library of instruments to download in the then new version Logic X. I've used only the instruments, amps and FX from the Logic X library, played on my 49 key controller keyboard and through my Apogee Gio on my Fender Strat. It has a 70's Greenslade feel to it I believe ...
